The 19th Annual Global Partners in Education Conference will be offered online this year in an effort to make participation more accessible for colleagues across our global network. We invite instructors, technical support personnel, students, staff, and administrators from GPE partner institutions around the world to join us for this important knowledge-sharing and networking event.
The theme of this year’s conference, “Shaping What Comes Next,” reflects the active role our community plays as GPE continues to grow and adapt. As higher education and virtual exchange evolve, GPE is working to respond in thoughtful and purposeful ways that are responsive to the needs of our partner institutions, instructors, and students. This work is not done in isolation. It relies on the ideas, experiences, and engagement of our colleagues across the network. The conference brings together colleagues not only to reflect on progress, but also to help inform the next steps.
During GPEXIX, participants will be invited to engage actively in conversations about the future of the network, and the continued development of GPE in a changing environment. The conference will also include professional development sessions focused on global learning strategies and effective collaboration that participants can apply directly to their own contexts. This year’s conference will also include a special focus on COIL as an important area of growth within the network. Participants will also have the opportunity to share research, best practices, and case studies, while building connections with colleagues from around the world.
Registration for the conference is free, but participants must register to access the sessions.
