GPE 17 Registration

Important Dates:

• Registration Opens: Opening soon!
• Registration Closes: February 2, 2024
• Conference Grant Application Due: March 1, 2024
• Conference Grant Notification: March 15, 2024
• Payment Due By: March 29, 2024

Conference Registration:

¥97,500 Japanese Yen (Approximately $650 USD)

Conference Registration fees cover:

• 3 nights accommodation (May 19, 20, & 21)
• Transportation from Hagi Iwami Airport (IWJ) on Sunday, May 19
• Return transportation to Hagi Iwami Airport on Wednesday, May 22 (if not staying for Cultural Field Seminar).
• All meals from breakfast, Monday, May 20 through lunch, Wednesday, May 22.
• All conference activities and materials.

Conference Grants:

A limited number of conference grants are available. Conference grants cover the entire registration fee. They do not cover airfare or attending the Cultural Field Seminar. Preference will be given to instructors, technology support and coordinators currently participating in GPE programming. To apply for a conference grant, please submit the form found here to GPEinfo@ecu.edu by March 1, 2024.

Cultural Field Seminar:

¥97,500 Japanese Yen (Approximately $650 USD)

Cultural Field Seminar fees cover:

• 3 nights accommodation (May 22, 23, & 24)
• All transportation from the end of the conference on Wednesday, May 22 to Hagi Iwami Airport on Saturday, May 25.
• All meals from dinner, Wednesday, May 22 to breakfast Saturday, May 25.
• All entrance and participation fees.

Conference participants should register and pay individually. If you are bringing a non-conference participant as a companion or require a double/twin room please contact gpe17@u-shimane.ac.jp. Japanese hotels are generally priced by guest, not by room.

Registration must be made through this site. Payment must be submitted through this site via PayPal. Once your registration is received, you will receive an invoice for payment.
